About the Role
TANIT Medical Engineering Limited, a leader in hospital development solutions since 1987, is looking for a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping advanced healthcare environments by designing and reviewing safe, compliant, and efficient electrical systems for medical facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive electrical drawings for hospital buildings, specialized operating rooms, and radiology suites ensuring adherence to international standards.
- Generate detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQs) including material specifications, accurate cost estimates, and alignment with project budgets.
- Review, analyze, and approve electrical designs submitted by subcontractors to ensure strict compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and biomedical teams to integrate electrical layouts seamlessly into complex infrastructure.
- Incorporate vital redundancy and safety protocols, such as emergency power supplies and medical-grade grounding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Proven professional experience in electrical design and BoQ preparation specifically for healthcare facilities or complex infrastructure.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard tools including AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
- Strong working knowledge of international safety regulations and healthcare standards such as HTM, NFPA, or IEC.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and excellent multidisciplinary communication skills.
