About the Role
Godrej Consumer Products Limited, a leading emerging markets FMCG leader, is looking for a dynamic Supply Planning Executive to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for converting agreed demand plans into executable, capacity-constrained supply plans that ensure high customer service while optimizing working capital and manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain accurate 12-18 month supply and production plans aligned with approved demand forecasts.
- Monitor raw and packaging material availability via SAP/MRP and partner with Procurement to mitigate lead-time and shortage risks.
- Maintain finished-goods inventory within targeted levels, driving continuous reduction of excess and obsolete stock.
- Manage end-to-end supply exceptions, import lead-time variability, and local operational constraints.
- Provide critical supply inputs into the monthly S&OP/IBP cycle, highlighting trade-offs between capacity, service, and cost.
- Oversee supply chain requirements for New Product Introductions (NPI), promotions, and seasonal demand fluctuations.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning, or Material Planning within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in SAP/MRP for translating demand into actionable production and material requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory optimization, safety stock management, and supply-risk mitigation.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
