We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Supply Chain Officer to join our Port Harcourt team. In this role, you will manage end-to-end procurement and supply-chain operations, ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and compliant sourcing, storage, and distribution of goods and services to seamlessly support our daily hospital and facility operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end procurement processes from requisition to delivery, ensuring optimal value and strict policy compliance.
- Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers while effectively managing purchase orders and commercial contracts.
- Oversee inventory levels, storage facilities, and distribution networks to minimize stock-outs and reduce operational wastage.
- Coordinate closely with pharmacy, laboratory, and clinical departments to accurately forecast and fulfill supply needs.
- Ensure facility procurement workflows comply with standards and process guidance issued by the central supply-chain function.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement records and provide robust support for internal and external audits.
- Drive cost-control initiatives and implement structured supplier-performance management frameworks.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program or possession of a valid exemption certificate.
- Proven professional experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management, including supplier negotiations and stock control.
- Strong working knowledge of supply-chain principles, inventory management, and cost-control strategies.
- Exceptional attention to detail, high ethical standards, and a strong commitment to regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Familiarity with modern procurement and inventory management systems is considered a strong advantage.
