About the Role
Myrtle Management Consultants is partnering with a dynamic organization to recruit a results-driven Supply Chain Manager in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will lead end-to-end supply chain operations, optimize logistics, and drive strategic procurement initiatives to ensure operational excellence and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective fulfillment of organizational needs.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures in line with best practices.
- Manage procurement processes including sourcing, tendering, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, and supplier selection.
- Oversee logistics, transportation, and warehousing operations to ensure efficient inventory management, storage, and distribution.
- Identify supply chain risks and implement robust mitigation strategies to guarantee business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Quality representatives to audit and optimize the supplier portfolio.
- Promote the use of technology and digital tools to enhance visibility and data-driven decision-making.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications in supply chain management will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in purchasing or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Prior experience in a marine organization is considered a strong advantage.
