About the Role
Bell Oil & Gas, a leading Nigerian-owned independent oil services company, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee our end-to-end supply chain operations. In this critical leadership role, you will ensure the optimal purchase, timely delivery, and cost-effective management of materials and equipment, driving our strategic vision within the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain and procurement strategies aligned with organizational business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, RFQ issuance, bid evaluation, contract administration, and Line Pipes and OCTG sourcing (LOSOM).
- Manage international sourcing, freight forwarding, customs clearance at Nigerian ports, and local trucking logistics.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, and regulatory agencies such as NCDMB.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian Customs tariffs, trade regulations, and ISO quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to foster continuous improvement and high performance.
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; a Master Degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of continuous experience in supply chain or procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within upstream oilfield services.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or APICS/ASCM are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in Nigerian port clearing procedures, customs duty validation, and international shipping.
