We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Supermarket Supervisor to join our dedicated team and help maintain our high standards of operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily supermarket operations, ensuring store cleanliness, proper merchandising, and product availability on shelves.
- Supervise, train, and motivate floor staff, cashiers, and stock handlers to achieve performance targets.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate reordering with the procurement department to minimize shrinkage.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and ensure a seamless shopping experience for all patrons.
- Enforce company policies, safety standards, and security protocols across the supermarket floor.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports to management.
- Possess a minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Supermarket Supervisor, Retail Supervisor, or similar role within the retail sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
