About the Role
Sunrise Universal Integrated Supermarket, a dynamic subsidiary of the Bond Group of Companies located in Ibadan, Oyo State, is looking for a results-driven and customer-focused Supermarket Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our thriving retail operations spanning supermarket, pharmacy, eatery, and arcade sectors, ensuring optimal performance, profitability, and exceptional customer satisfaction across all departments.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales revenue through the implementation of effective, innovative marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Build a strong local network and community presence to drive consistent customer foot traffic to the supermarket.
- Ensure the supermarket meets maximum visual merchandising standards for attractive product displays that encourage purchases.
- Enforce strict adherence to standard hygiene, health, and safety guidelines across all sections of the facility.
- Lead, motivate, and manage employees to deliver exceptional customer service aimed at building long-term brand loyalty.
- Conduct daily financial reconciliations of all cash and electronic payment sales lodgments to guarantee transactional accuracy.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels, oversee stock control, and prevent stock-outs to ensure constant product availability.
- Possession of an HND or B.Sc. in Social Sciences or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven working experience in a Supermarket Manager or similar retail leadership capacity.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market data and forecast sales trends accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with a sociable, approachable, and engaging personality.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while successfully multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven capability to plan, execute, and refine strategic sales processes to achieve organizational goals.
