We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Super Dispatch Officer to strengthen dispatch coordination, optimize vehicle allocation, and enhance operational oversight across our rapidly expanding logistics network.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily dispatch activities to ensure timely and efficient shipment movement across all designated routes.
- Optimize delivery and dispatch routes to improve turnaround time, vehicle utilization, and overall operational efficiency.
- Coordinate vehicle allocation seamlessly based on shipment volumes, destinations, capacity, and critical operational priorities.
- Monitor active dispatch operations and provide real-time updates on vehicle movements, potential delays, and transit exceptions.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records, manifests, trip sheets, vehicle documents, and related operational documentation in compliance with company standards.
- Liaise effectively with Fleet, Hub, Gateway, Riders, Drivers, and Regional Operations teams to guarantee seamless dispatch execution.
- Identify dispatch bottlenecks proactively and recommend actionable solutions to improve network efficiency and service delivery.
- Prepare comprehensive dispatch performance reports and deliver valuable operational insights to management.
- Ensure strict adherence to established dispatch procedures, documentation requirements, and internal operational controls.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in dispatch coordination, logistics operations, fleet management, or transportation.
- Strong working knowledge of planning, scheduling, route optimization, vehicle allocation, and document management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern logistics or dispatch management software systems.
- Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking, organization, cross-functional communication, and complex problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive and perform efficiently under intense pressure in a fast-paced Nigerian logistics environment.
- Prior working experience in courier, e-commerce, transportation, or large-scale logistics operations is considered a distinct advantage.
