About the Role
Redeemer's 103.5 FM, a prominent campus radio station established by Redeemer's University in Ede, Osun State, Nigeria, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for the Student Volunteer - Technical/Behind the Scenes position. Serving as both a premier training ground for world-class broadcasters and a vital catalyst for grassroots community development, our station offers an immersive learning environment for students passionate about media technology and radio broadcasting operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the technical team with the setup, operation, and maintenance of broadcast studio equipment and transmitters.
- Monitor audio feeds, manage soundboards, and ensure seamless live broadcast transmissions.
- Provide technical support during live shows, campus events, and outside broadcast recordings.
- Troubleshoot minor hardware and software issues related to radio automation systems.
- Collaborate with producers and on-air personalities to ensure optimal sound quality and technical execution.
- Current student at Redeemer's University or a relevant tertiary institution in Nigeria.
- Demonstrated interest in broadcast engineering, audio technology, or information technology.
- Basic understanding of audio mixing, signal routing, or radio broadcast software is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to commit to flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings when required.
