About the Role
Trucrete Solutions Limited is a dynamic construction management firm renowned for shaping Nigeria's infrastructure through groundbreaking engineering projects, including buildings, bridges, and roads. We are currently seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineer to oversee the structural engineering aspects of our projects. In this vital role, you will be responsible for structural analysis, design review, site implementation, and quality control, ensuring all structural works are executed safely and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and international standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and review structural analysis and engineering calculations for various construction projects.
- Review structural drawings, designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Supervise the execution of structural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure structural works meet applicable codes, standards, quality, and safety requirements.
- Monitor construction activities involving foundations, columns, beams, slabs, reinforcement, and concrete works.
- Identify and resolve structural and technical issues encountered during construction.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken where necessary.
- Review construction materials and ensure they meet required structural specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare technical reports, site reports, calculations, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate with Architects, MEP Engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders.
- Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design principles, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and relevant structural engineering software.
- Proven experience supervising and inspecting structural construction works.
- Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundations.
- Relevant professional registration or certification, such as COREN, is an added advantage.
