About the Role
China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) Nigeria Limited is seeking a dedicated and skilled Structural Designer to join our premier engineering team. Operating in Nigeria since 1981, we have built a reputation for excellence in delivering major infrastructure development, building construction, and civil engineering projects across all 36 states and the FCT. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the physical landscape of Nigeria by designing robust and compliant structures for various large-scale developments.
Key Responsibilities- Design comprehensive structural frameworks and systems for diverse building projects, bridges, and civil infrastructure.
- Conduct advanced structural analysis, precise load calculations, and thorough material assessments to guarantee maximum stability.
- Prepare detailed structural engineering drawings and technical specifications in strict compliance with national and international safety regulations.
- Coordinate seamlessly with architects, project managers, and site construction teams to integrate cohesive structural solutions.
- Monitor construction progress regularly to ensure strict adherence to approved structural designs and promptly resolve on-site engineering challenges.
- Ensure all designs proactively meet local building codes, safety standards, and specific client requirements.
- Bachelor degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional hands-on experience in structural design within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Demonstrated proficiency in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, and STAAD.Pro.
- Strong understanding of fundamental structural principles, modern building materials, and advanced construction methodologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving capabilities to mitigate design and construction risks.
