About the Role
Proten, an international Human Capital Development firm with headquarters in London and Lagos, is seeking a results-driven Strategy & Operations Manager to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will provide critical strategic, operational, and analytical support to the Managing Director, serving as the central coordination hub between management, operations, finance, and business development to ensure strategic priorities translate into measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of strategic initiatives, executive decisions, and action plans to ensure timely execution across the organization.
- Prepare executive reports, presentations, management dashboards, and decision-support materials for Management and the Board.
- Monitor departmental performance against KPIs and strategic objectives, analyze business trends, and escalate key operational risks.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects, track timelines, facilitate collaboration, and resolve execution bottlenecks.
- Conduct comprehensive market and competitor research to support strategic planning, business growth, and product development.
- Review operational processes and recommend continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and governance.
- Coordinate management meetings, document critical decisions, and rigorously track agreed action items to completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, business analysis, or executive support.
- Prior experience within a regulated financial institution will be a distinct advantage.
- Possession of an MBA or relevant professional certifications is highly preferred.
