About the Role

Nolton Africa is a full-fledged development management consulting firm offering a broad range of services to nonprofit professionals, social entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and donors. We are currently looking for a passionate and analytical Strategy Consultant to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, executing, and evaluating strategic initiatives that foster sustainable development, operational excellence, and social impact across the continent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients in the nonprofit and social enterprise sectors to formulate and implement robust strategic plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research, data analysis, and stakeholder interviews to identify growth opportunities and operational bottlenecks.
  • Design actionable frameworks and methodologies for program monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
  • Prepare detailed reports, proposals, and executive presentations for donors, philanthropists, and board members.
  • Facilitate workshops and capacity-building training sessions for client organizations and internal teams.
  • Manage project lifecycles from conception to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in strategy consulting, development management, or the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated passion for social impact, philanthropy, and community development within the African context.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and standard office software applications.
