About the Role

The Center for Clinical Care and Clinical Research (CCCRN) is an indigenous, non-profit organization registered in Nigeria in 2010 to promote best practices in health care delivery, medical training, and research using locally adapted models of health systems strengthening. We are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical Strategic Information Officer to join our dynamic team and support the timely collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of complete and accurate program data at assigned sites. Reporting directly to the Strategic Information Specialist, you will play a critical role in enhancing healthcare outcomes through robust data management and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collate and validate routine program data against source documents to ensure absolute accuracy.
  • Maintain comprehensive reporting trackers, databases, and physical or digital evidence folders.
  • Conduct thorough completeness, consistency, and duplicate checks, proactively resolving data discrepancies.
  • Produce routine data analyses and generate insightful site feedback to drive continuous performance improvement.
  • Support regular data-quality assessments, aid in indicator interpretation, and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist facility and program staff with standard reporting tools and promote evidence-based data use.
  • Protect confidential records meticulously while strictly adhering to approved institutional data-management procedures.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Statistics, Public Health, Demography, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant monitoring, evaluation, and data-management experience within health programs.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advanced Excel and comprehensive database management systems.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking skills with a meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities for coaching facility staff alongside clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Uncompromising commitment to maintaining data confidentiality and ethical standards.
