About the Role
Carifika Network for Sustainable Development (CNSD) Nigeria, a subsidiary of Carifika Global, is dedicated to fostering prosperous and harmonious societies across Africa and the Caribbean. Our core pillars encompass health, education, WASH, peace-building, governance, and cultural preservation. We are currently seeking a passionate Storytelling Specialist to join our dynamic volunteer team and help amplify our community-driven initiatives. Residents in Nyanya, Karu, Orozo, and surrounding areas in Abuja are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Craft compelling stories, articles, and reports highlighting our community development projects and impact.
- Create engaging multimedia content, including blog posts and social media narratives, to raise awareness.
- Collaborate with project teams in health, education, and peace-building to document beneficiary journeys.
- Support the communication team in developing content strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Manage deadlines effectively while producing high-quality, impactful content for diverse audiences.
- Proven experience or a strong background in storytelling, journalism, copywriting, or digital content creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A deep passion for community development, social impact, and sustainable initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet agreed-upon project timelines.
