Wertvoll Consulting Services, a premier hospitality consulting firm headquartered in Lekki, Lagos, is recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client, Blue Apple Hotel. Located in the thriving axis of Awoyaya, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, Blue Apple Hotel is seeking a competent, passionate, and service-driven professional to fill the role of Stores Officer. In this vital position, you will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency by overseeing inventory control, stock management, and seamless store operations within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily store operations, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and issuance of hotel inventory and supplies.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records to prevent shrinkage and waste.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely reordering of hospitality supplies, food and beverage items, and cleaning materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and digital logs of all incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and organizational standards within the storage facilities.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance departments to verify vendor deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Stores Officer, Inventory Clerk, or Stock Controller, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain integrity in stock handling.
- Reside in or close to Ibeju-Lekki, Awoyaya, and surrounding areas in Lagos.
