We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Procurement Officer – Supply Chain to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our architectural, construction, and interior fit-out projects run smoothly by acquiring top-quality materials and services efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, review, and process approved purchase requisitions from internal departments.
- Source materials, equipment, and services from qualified vendors while conducting rigorous evaluations.
- Request and compare quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and negotiate favorable commercial terms.
- Coordinate timely deliveries, track shipments, and resolve any delivery discrepancies with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, purchase orders, and updated vendor databases.
- Collaborate closely with project management, quantity surveying, and finance teams to ensure strict budget compliance.
- Monitor market pricing trends and identify strategic opportunities for cost savings and bulk purchasing.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on procurement and vendor management experience, preferably within the construction, architecture, or interior fit-out industry.
- Active student or professional membership with relevant bodies such as CIPS, CIPSMN, or CILT is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in price negotiation, purchase order administration, and inventory coordination.
- Proficiency in managing multiple project procurement requests simultaneously with high attention to detail.
