About the Role
The Smackers Limited, operators of the renowned The Place Restaurant, is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Storekeeper to join our dynamic team in Port Harcourt. Over the past decade, we have grown into a leading name in the Nigerian food services and hospitality industry, committed to exceeding customer expectations. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our inventory standards, ensuring that all restaurant units are efficiently supplied with the necessary goods, equipment, and materials to deliver exceptional service daily.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, date, and properly store incoming goods, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Maintain strict stock rotation principles to minimize waste and spoilage.
- Pull requisitions accurately and efficiently for various operational units.
- Decant, palletize, and retrieve products, equipment, and staff uniforms as needed.
- Deliver requested items to designated units promptly and safely.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain a clean, organized storage environment.
- Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC qualification, with a maximum of an OND.
- Prior experience in retail or a store management position is an added advantage.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and a reputation for punctuality.
- Well-presented, professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for inventory tracking.
- Must be a current resident of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
