About the Role
Footprint Hospitality is a bespoke hospitality consultancy with a high regard for excellence, exceptional service delivery, and human capacity building. We are currently looking for a meticulous and organized Storekeeper to join our growing team in Nigeria and oversee our inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, unpack, verify, and record incoming stock and merchandise against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse and storage areas for optimal space utilization and easy retrieval of items.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies with system records in a timely manner.
- Issue and distribute materials, equipment, and supplies to various departments based on approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and report low-inventory thresholds to management to prevent stockouts.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and filing systems for all inventory transactions, receipts, and issues.
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and hygiene standards within the storage facilities at all times.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Clerk, or in a similar warehouse role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities with great attention to detail.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
