About the Role

With our office located in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria, we facilitate reliable project execution across diverse sectors. We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and control of engineering materials, tools, spare parts, equipment, and consumables. The successful candidate will maintain accurate inventory records and ensure materials are readily available to support our engineering, maintenance, and project operations.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify materials, tools, equipment, and spare parts against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Record stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns accurately using digital logs or inventory software.
- Monitor stock levels continuously and raise replenishment requests when required to prevent shortages.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, physical stock counts, and investigate any inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Organise and maintain the warehouse layout for easy identification, retrieval, and safety of materials.
- Issue materials strictly against approved requisitions and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Track tools, equipment, and other technical assets issued to internal employees and project teams.
- Prepare and maintain GRNs, Goods Issue Vouchers, Bin Cards, Stock Transfer Notes, and routine inventory reports.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, stock rotation, and overall physical security of all inventory items.
- Identify and report damaged, obsolete, expired, or slow-moving stock items in a timely manner.
- Ensure strict compliance with warehouse safety procedures, HSE policies, and proper utilisation of PPE.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Finance, and Project teams.
- OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of proven professional experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Officer, or Inventory Officer.
- Prior experience working within engineering, technical services, manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience handling engineering tools, spare parts, and technical industrial materials.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office productivity tools.
- Demonstrated experience using modern ERP or dedicated inventory management systems.
- Solid understanding of HSE guidelines and warehouse safety best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and high personal accountability.
- Professional certifications in Inventory Management or Supply Chain will be an added advantage.
