About the Role
Prince O J Global Services Limited, a leading fast-moving consumer goods company headquartered in Onitsha, Anambra State, specializes in the importation and distribution of premium wines, spirits, spices, and household food products. We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Storekeeper to join our dynamic logistics and supply chain team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring optimal stock levels, and facilitating the smooth inflow and outflow of goods to support our nationwide distribution network.
Key Responsibilities- Record and maintain accurate, up-to-date information on all warehouse stock and inventory books.
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly stocktaking audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Ensure goods are issued efficiently and accurately for prompt distribution to company branches as requested.
- Monitor product handling to prevent stock damage and safeguard the warehouse facility.
- Maintain adequate stock thresholds to prevent stock-outs and ensure timely product pickups for delivery.
- Manage the company stock management system and execute ad-hoc inventory projects as required.
- BSc or HND in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or storekeeping.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Must currently reside in Onitsha, Anambra State.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
