About the Role
Domino Stores Limited, a dynamic Nigerian group of companies operating within the retail, hospitality, and property sectors, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Supervisor for our growing bakery chain business. In this role, you will oversee daily store operations, drive sales targets, lead retail teams, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction while maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage customer inquiries, resolve complaints effectively, and escalate complex issues to management to guarantee utmost satisfaction.
- Supervise the deli and ice-cream sections, ensuring a steady and adequate supply of raw materials for production.
- Compute monthly staff attendance and communicate records accurately to the appropriate department.
- Receive warehouse goods, verifying physical items against invoices and ensuring products are in optimal condition.
- Prepare supplier statement notes and ensure direct orders are acknowledged and promptly supplied.
- Supervise cash points, maintain adequate daily change, and ensure accurate remittance of sales proceeds for reconciliation.
- Oversee retail staff, organize and distribute work schedules, and manage inter-departmental operations effectively.
- Maintain excellent product displays, merchandise cleanliness, inventory control, and promotional standards.
- Enforce strict store cleanliness, health, and safety measures while monitoring local competitors to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Provide guidance, counseling, training, and general supervision to Customer Relations Officers (CROs) to ensure policy compliance.
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven working experience in a retail environment, ideally in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership abilities with a sharp business orientation and commercial awareness.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with comprehensive knowledge of basic business management processes.
- Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and strong numerical proficiency.
