About the Role
Genesis Group, a leading Nigerian conglomerate spanning hospitality, entertainment, and industrial catering, is seeking a diligent and organized Store Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our storage facilities, maintaining precise inventory records, and safeguarding company assets across our bustling business units.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and inspect incoming shipments against delivery notes and purchase orders to verify accurate quantity, quality, and condition.
- Maintain precise digital and manual records of all stock movements, receipts, and issuances.
- Monitor stock levels, track expiration dates, and manage reorder thresholds to prevent stockouts and minimize waste.
- Distribute materials and goods to authorized departments and personnel strictly based on approved requisition forms.
- Ensure the storage facility remains clean, organized, and secure to prevent damage, loss, or workplace safety hazards.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with ledger balances.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Store Officer, Inventory Clerk, or Warehouse Assistant, preferably within the hospitality, retail, or industrial sectors.
- Strong proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
