About the Role

Egbin Power Plc, located in Lagos, is the largest thermal power generating station in sub-Saharan Africa, committed to bridging Nigeria's electricity deficit through innovation and excellence. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Store Inventory Officer to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure seamless inventory management across our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain precise records of all material receipts and issuances to ensure complete warehouse accuracy.
  • Manage the stores data center and build a robust inventory material database and warehouse list.
  • Supervise the offloading, handling, and strategic arrangement of consignments for safe custody and easy identification.
  • Perform regular physical stock reconciliations against system records and conduct routine stock-taking exercises.
  • Monitor inventory levels continuously to ascertain accurate reorder points and prevent stockouts.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental procedures within the warehouse environment.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the supply chain department as needed.
  • Generate timely weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory and operational reports.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a BSc or HND qualification in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related numeric disciplines.
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar inventory or storekeeping role within a large-scale industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of automated store inventory management systems and database maintenance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
