About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, designing, distributing, and financing modern solar solutions to millions of homes across Africa and Asia without reliable electricity. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Store Executive to join our expanding team in Ogoja, Cross River State. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving overall store performance, ensuring seamless inventory control, executing minor product repairs, and delivering exceptional customer service to walk-in clients. Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end inventory operations, including receiving stock, updating stock cards, and maintaining online Goods Received and Goods Issued logs.
- Implement FIFO standards for stock issuance and conduct daily cycle counts alongside comprehensive monthly stock takes.
- Handle spare parts inventory, monitor re-order levels, and manage faulty stock consolidation for disposal or replacement.
- Perform basic technical diagnostics and minor repairs on in-warranty returns, ensuring proper custody of repair tools and adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare accurate daily on-hand and issued stock reports for key internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant shop floor arranged meticulously by SKU.
- Welcome walk-in customers, assess technical issues, verify warranty eligibility, and collaborate with Energy Officers and the Call Center to resolve customer inquiries.
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related operational role.
- Demonstrate strong computer literacy with solid proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
- Show high levels of integrity, flexibility, and a proactive attitude as a dependable team player.
- Prior knowledge of Sun King products and familiarity with the Ogoja territory will serve as a distinct advantage.
