About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy provider, powering the lives of over 82 million customers across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a dedicated and results-driven Store Executive to join our dynamic team in Akwanga, Nasarawa. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our retail and inventory operations, ensuring that our life-changing solar products are efficiently distributed and maintained to serve our growing customer base.
Key Responsibilities- Manage inventory by receiving stock from warehouses, maintaining stock cards, and utilizing FIFO standards for stock issuance and dispatch.
- Conduct daily cycle counts, monthly stock takes, and maintain up-to-date online Goods Received and Goods Issued logs.
- Handle repairs and spare parts management, including conducting basic checks and repairs on in-warranty returns.
- Ensure the store and repair workbench are well-maintained, tidy, and compliant with safety procedures.
- Welcome walk-in customers, verify warranty eligibility for faulty components, and assist Energy Officers in resolving customer queries.
- Prepare accurate daily on-hand stock and replacement reports for stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institution in a related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in store management, inventory control, or a related role.
- Strong computer literacy with working proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- High levels of integrity, positive attitude, and customer-focused mind-set.
- Familiarity with Sun King products and local territory knowledge in Nasarawa will be a distinct advantage.
