About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, designing, distributing, and financing modern solar home systems to over 82 million customers across more than 40 countries. We are currently looking for a dynamic and dedicated Store Executive to join our team in Mangu, Plateau State, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will ensure our local store operates efficiently by maintaining precise inventory controls, delivering exceptional customer service, and executing basic product repairs to support our mission of providing reliable energy to off-grid households.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end inventory including receiving stock from the warehouse, issuing stock according to FIFO standards, updating stock cards, and maintaining online Goods Received and Goods Issued logs.
- Perform daily cycle counts, manage spare parts re-orders, consolidate faulty stock for disposal, and conduct comprehensive monthly stock takes.
- Prepare and share accurate daily on-hand and issued-stock reports with relevant stakeholders.
- Take custody of repair toolkits, perform basic diagnostic checks on faulty units, conduct in-warranty repairs, and manage spare parts effectively.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment with proper SKU arrangement on the shop floor and adherence to safety procedures at the repair workbench.
- Welcome walk-in customers, verify warranty eligibility, assist Energy Officers, and coordinate with the call center to resolve customer queries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institution in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related operational role.
- Strong computer literacy with working proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
- High level of integrity, flexibility, and a proactive, positive team-player attitude.
- Familiarity with Sun King products and local territory knowledge of Mangu and surrounding areas will be an added advantage.
