About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, designing, distributing, and financing modern solar home systems to over 82 million customers across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Store Executive to oversee our retail and inventory operations in Lambatta, Niger State. In this vital role, you will ensure our store meets its performance targets by maintaining accurate inventory records, delivering exceptional customer service, and executing basic product repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end inventory operations including stock reception, dispatch, daily cycle counts, and monthly stock takes following FIFO standards.
- Maintain up-to-date physical stock cards, Goods Received/Issued logs online, and provide timely daily stock reports.
- Handle repairs and spare parts management, including conducting technical checks on faulty units and performing in-warranty repairs.
- Ensure the store environment, shop floor, and repair workbench remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
- Welcome walk-in customers, assess warranty eligibility, and collaborate with Energy Officers and the Call Center to resolve queries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institution in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, retail operations, or a related role.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Excel and MS Word, with proven report-writing skills.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity.
- Familiarity with Sun King products and local knowledge of the Lambatta territory are distinct advantages.
