About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading solar energy provider for off-grid homes, impacting over 82 million lives across more than 40 countries. We are currently looking for a dynamic and dedicated Store Executive to join our team in Katagum, Bauchi State. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our retail and service center operates seamlessly, meeting performance targets while delivering exceptional service to our customers and supporting field operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be entrusted with managing the daily operations of the store, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across all processes:
- Receive, track, and manage inventory from the warehouse, strictly adhering to FIFO standards and maintaining updated stock cards and online logs.
- Conduct daily cycle counts, monthly stock takes, and manage spare parts inventory and re-orders.
- Prepare accurate daily stock-on-hand reports and document daily issued stock for replacements and replenishment.
- Take custody of repair tools, perform basic troubleshooting on faulty units, and conduct basic repairs on in-warranty returns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment with shop floor arrangements structured by SKU.
- Welcome walk-in customers, process warranty eligibility for faulty components, and coordinate with Energy Officers and the Call Center to resolve customer queries.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity in Katagum, you should meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution in a related field.
- Possess at least 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related role.
- Demonstrate strong computer literacy, particularly with working proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Exhibit excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
- Show high levels of integrity, a proactive attitude, and flexibility as a dependable team player.
- Local territory knowledge and familiarity with Sun King solar products will be considered significant advantages.
