About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, providing innovative power solutions to over 82 million customers across Africa and Asia. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Store Executive to join our team in Idah, Kogi State. In this vital role, you will ensure that overall store performance targets are successfully met in terms of both operational quality and quantity, playing a key part in expanding clean energy access.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily inventory operations, receiving stock from the warehouse and issuing items strictly according to FIFO standards.
- Maintain and update stock cards, online Goods Received and Goods Issued logs, and perform daily cycle counts.
- Conduct monthly stock takes and manage spare parts inventory and re-order levels.
- Prepare accurate daily reports on on-hand stock and issued items for stakeholder use.
- Receive faulty units from the field, perform basic technical evaluations to verify warranty eligibility, and conduct minor repairs for in-warranty returns.
- Take custody of repair tools, maintain a tidy and safe workshop bench, and ensure the shop floor is impeccably organized by SKU.
- Welcome walk-in customers warmly, assist Energy Officers, and collaborate with the call center to resolve customer inquiries.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Possess at least 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related operational role.
- Demonstrate strong computer literacy with proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Exhibit excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Show high levels of personal integrity, a proactive attitude, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with Sun King products and local territory knowledge of Idah, Kogi State, will be an added advantage.
