About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, providing clean, reliable power to over 82 million people across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Store Executive to join our expanding team in Damaturu, Yobe State, Nigeria. In this role, you will be the backbone of our local operations, ensuring optimal inventory control, efficient store management, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, track, and manage stock from the warehouse while ensuring compliance with FIFO (First-In, First-Out) standards.
- Maintain accurate physical inventory and update online Goods Received and Goods Issued logs daily.
- Conduct daily cycle counts and execute comprehensive monthly stock takes.
- Perform basic technical checks and repairs on in-warranty returns, and manage spare parts inventory.
- Maintain a tidy, well-organized shop floor arranged by SKU and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols at the workbench.
- Welcome walk-in customers, resolve queries, and coordinate seamlessly with Energy Officers and the Call Center.
- Prepare accurate daily reports on on-stock levels, stock issuance, and replacements.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related role.
- Strong computer literacy, with proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Demonstrated integrity, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-first focus.
- Familiarity with Sun King products and local territory knowledge of Yobe State will be a distinct advantage.
