About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI), a leading HR and Management Consultancy solutions provider, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our dynamic operations team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring seamless stock movement, and safeguarding company assets against loss or discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor, record, and maintain accurate inventory levels using modern tracking systems.
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming stock deliveries against purchase orders.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts and perform comprehensive inventory reconciliations.
- Ensure safe, organized, and compliant storage of all warehouse items.
- Identify and report damages, shortages, or discrepancies immediately to management.
- Collaborate closely with procurement and operations teams to maintain balanced stock levels.
- Prepare regular, detailed inventory reports for executive review and audit support.
- Minimize stock shrinkage, waste, and pilferage through strict adherence to company protocols.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Proven professional experience working as a Stock Controller, Inventory Officer, Storekeeper, or in a similar capacity.
- Solid understanding of modern inventory management principles, warehouse best practices, and reconciliation techniques.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced capability in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or specialized inventory management software is a strong advantage.
