About the Role
Virgin Forest Energy Limited, a leading and well-capitalized downstream oil trading company in Nigeria, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Station Supervisor to join our retail team in Owerri. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing daily station operations, delivering exceptional customer service, maximizing sales performance, and upholding our high standards of safety and operational excellence within the vibrant Nigerian energy sector.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily retail station operations to ensure seamless, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery.
- Monitor sales performance, identify local business opportunities, and implement effective strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales, inventory levels, product deliveries, and financial transactions.
- Oversee staff attendance, supervise team performance, maintain discipline, and foster high productivity.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) regulations and company policies.
- Maintain pristine standards of cleanliness and orderliness across the station premises.
- Monitor product stock and promptly report shortages, equipment faults, or operational bottlenecks.
- Handle cash management, payment reconciliations, and station documentation with high integrity.
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships to enhance brand loyalty and retention.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to management.
- Possession of a minimum of an HND or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 2 to 3 years of proven experience in retail management, station supervision, or downstream oil and gas operations.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory control, sales tracking, cash management, and basic Microsoft Office tools.
