About the Role
George Houston Resources Limited (GHR) is currently recruiting a customer-focused and reliable Station Officer to support the smooth day-to-day operations of a modern battery-swapping station in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing battery availability, maintaining accurate inventory records, and delivering exceptional service to riders while upholding strict safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Station Manager with routine daily station activities and operational workflows.
- Ensure a steady supply of fully charged batteries are readily available for riders.
- Accurately record and track all batteries entering and leaving the station premises.
- Verify payments, process transactions, and claim payment codes where applicable.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of battery usage, inventory levels, and shift activities.
- Provide friendly, efficient customer support and assistance to visiting riders.
- Monitor station equipment and report operational faults or technical issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free, and safe working environment.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, operational guidelines, and safety protocols.
- Perform other assigned duties as delegated by management.
- Minimum of an SSCE or OND qualification from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal, and record-keeping abilities.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital tracking tools.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
