About the Role

As our Station Cashier in Owerri, you will be the financial backbone of our operations, ensuring seamless cash management, accurate transaction processing, and outstanding customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process all customer payments for petroleum products and services
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate financial records for every transaction
- Process payments via cash, POS terminals, bank transfers, and other approved methods
- Reconcile daily cash collections with POS sales data and pump meter readings
- Prepare comprehensive end-of-shift and daily financial reports
- Secure company funds and valuables according to established procedures
- Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies promptly
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all financial policies and internal controls
- Support audit exercises and maintain organized financial documentation
- 1–3 years proven experience as a cashier, finance officer, or in retail operations
- Previous petroleum station experience is highly advantageous
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic accounting principles
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Trustworthiness and commitment to financial compliance
