About the Role
Nepal Energy is a renowned leader in the importation, warehousing, and nationwide distribution of petroleum products, operating a robust fleet and strategically positioned retail outlets. We are currently seeking a reliable and diligent Station Cashier to join our vibrant team at our Osun filling station.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and accurately process customer payments for fuel, lubricants, and other retail station products using cash, POS terminals, and bank transfers.
- Perform comprehensive daily sales reconciliations, matching cash collections and electronic payments against shift transaction records.
- Maintain strict financial accountability, issuing correct receipts and proper change while ensuring personal and company funds are never mixed.
- Prepare accurate daily cashier reports and immediately report any discrepancies, shortages, or suspicious activities to the Station Manager.
- Deliver courteous, prompt, and professional customer service, effectively handling inquiries and resolving minor payment issues.
- Safeguard all cash and payment equipment under your custody, adhering strictly to company financial controls and safety regulations.
- Relevant educational qualifications and proven work experience in cash handling or retail cashiering.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and financial accountability.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in operating POS terminals and payment systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric attitude.
