About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building a robust financial ecosystem for businesses. We provide essential payment, banking, credit, and business management tools that empower merchants to succeed. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented State Inventory Officer to join our dynamic team in Taraba State.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of POS devices, including stock levels, locations, and serial numbers, while monitoring inventory to prevent stock shortages.
- Verify serial number accuracy for all received POS devices against corresponding records, promptly resolving any identified discrepancies.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and audits to reconcile physical stock with logical inventory and execute corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to optimize supply chain operations and ensure uninterrupted distribution.
- Perform additional operational duties and administrative tasks as assigned by the State Coordinator.
- Possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in inventory management, warehousing, or related operational roles within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to reconcile complex inventory discrepancies.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
