About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by providing a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented State Inventory Officer to join our operations team in Adamawa. In this role, you will be responsible for managing POS device inventory, ensuring secure storage, accurate tracking, and efficient distribution across the region to support our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of POS devices, including stock levels, locations, and serial numbers.
- Conduct regular stock counts, physical audits, and reconcile physical stock with logical inventory.
- Verify serial number accuracy for all received devices, immediately addressing and documenting any discrepancies.
- Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective measures to prevent future stock errors.
- Partner closely with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory operations and prevent stock shortages.
- Perform additional operational duties as assigned by the State Coordinator.
- Possession of an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience in inventory management, stock control, or related operational roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
