About the Role
Malaria Consortium is seeking an experienced and dynamic State Campaign Manager to join our team in Borno State, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of Insecticide-Treated Net (ITN) distribution activities, financial management, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with the Ministry of Health and national programs to drive impactful malaria prevention strategies across the state.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the overall coordination, planning, and implementation of ITN campaign activities in line with national guidelines.
- Manage the recruitment, supervision, and support of Work Stream Advisors and Campaign Technical Assistants.
- Coordinate LGA-level microplanning, supply chain management, warehousing logistics, and third-party distribution.
- Oversee financial accountability, operational cost tracking, and timely disbursement of field staff allowances.
- Collaborate with the National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP) and State Ministry of Health to ensure high-quality campaign delivery.
- Monitor implementation progress, track performance indicators, and facilitate the documentation of lessons learned.
- Represent Malaria Consortium at relevant technical working groups, coordination forums, and stakeholder meetings.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in health sciences, social sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience, with at least 3 to 5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale public health campaigns, specifically mass ITN distribution in Nigeria.
- Strong familiarity with NMEP strategies, guidelines, procurement, logistics, and demand-creation activities.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder liaison, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in standard office software and demonstrated ability to manage budgets and short-term projects.
