We are currently looking for a results-driven State Business Manager to lead our operations in Niger State. In this strategic role, you will plan, monitor, and ensure the achievement of customer and revenue market share objectives by supervising multiple teams to deliver operational excellence in network performance, customer service, channel management, and market expansion.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs our State Business Manager, you will be responsible for driving comprehensive business growth and operational success across your designated zone. Your core duties will include:
- Drive prepaid and postpaid revenue-earning customer net additions by formulating effective zonal sales strategies, monitoring churn, and ensuring activation compliance.
- Achieve net zonal revenue targets by implementing customer service development strategies, driving collections, reducing bad debts, and promoting value-added services.
- Enhance channel satisfaction scores by auditing partners, ensuring healthy return on investment, and executing trade service delights.
- Expand distribution width and depth across showrooms and dealer service agents while meeting active retail outlet targets.
- Oversee network coverage and quality by collaborating on optimization, site deployment return on investment, and outage reduction.
- Deliver an exceptional showroom experience through standard infrastructure and continuous employee upskilling.
- Champion employee engagement by motivating front-line teams and resolving operational hygiene issues.
To qualify for this exciting career opportunity with Airtel Nigeria, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Social Sciences, or a related field; a Master’s in Business Administration is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 12 years of retail sales experience in telecommunications, FMCG, or manufacturing, including at least 4 years at the middle management level.
- Demonstrated expertise in Route-to-Market and Go-to-Market strategies with a strong background in business development and revenue generation.
- Exceptional leadership, relationship management, numerical acumen, and analytical thinking skills.
- Strong customer-centric orientation with a proven ability to drive execution excellence.
