About the Role
Jaza Energy is a pioneering last-mile energy company dedicated to building solar charging stations and renting clean energy batteries in off-grid communities. We are currently looking for a driven Star Development Coordinator to join our growing team in Abuja. In this role, you will champion our expansion efforts by identifying, recruiting, and training local talent known as 'Jaza Stars' to manage our solar hubs and deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, advertising, interviewing, and hiring talented Jaza Stars for new expansion sites.
- Design, facilitate, and oversee comprehensive classroom and on-site training programs for all new recruits.
- Ensure all onboarding procedures are strictly followed, including contract execution, document filing, and account setup on company applications.
- Continuously evaluate training materials and recommend updates to QA Expansion Operations based on field observations.
- Build strong local networks and effectively position Jaza Energy as an attractive employer in rural and off-grid communities.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in rural talent acquisition and community-based recruitment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently to remote expansion locations.
- Familiarity with local languages, dialects, and community dynamics in Nigeria.
