About the Role

As a Staff Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing exceptional financial products that are intuitive, accessible, and impactful for our diverse user base across the continent.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute strategic product design initiatives that align with our core business objectives and user needs.
- Lead the end-to-end design lifecycle, from initial discovery and user research to wireframing, prototyping, and final UI execution.
- Conduct advanced usability testing, user interviews, and A/B experiments to validate and refine digital experiences.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Build and maintain scalable UI components, contributing to our evolving design system and atomic design frameworks.
- Champion accessibility (A11y) and inclusive design principles to serve millions of business owners effectively.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence, continuous learning, and innovation.
- Minimum of 3 years of senior-level product design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful UX/UI projects.
- Mastery of Figma, including advanced auto-layout, design tokens, component variants, and interactive prototyping.
- Proven background in fintech or SaaS environments, with a deep understanding of complex financial user journeys.
- Expertise in interaction design, information architecture, user flows, and behavioural psychology.
- Strong command of visual design principles, typography, grid systems, and colour theory.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative user research.
