Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to patients in assigned clinical units and wards.
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and evaluate nursing intervention effectiveness.
  • Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and other treatments precisely as prescribed by medical doctors.
  • Monitor, record, and report vital signs and overall patient progress accurately.
  • Assist physicians and medical practitioners during clinical procedures, examinations, and emergency interventions.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records in compliance with facility standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, medication management, and post-discharge care plans.
  • Respond promptly, calmly, and effectively to patient needs and medical emergencies.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Possession of a current, valid practicing license issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
  • Demonstrated clinical proficiency and a strong passion for excellent patient-centered care.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with medical staff.
  • Previous relevant clinical experience in a recognized healthcare facility is an added advantage.
