About the Role
The Nigerian Navy invites talented sportsmen and sportswomen to enlist and represent the armed forces in various sporting disciplines. Operating under the visionary leadership of the Nigerian Navy, this role offers elite athletes a prestigious platform to showcase their talents while serving the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You will receive professional training, compete at the highest levels, and contribute to the rich sporting heritage of the military.
Key Responsibilities- Represent the Nigerian Navy in local, national, and international sporting competitions.
- Maintain peak physical fitness and adhere to rigorous training schedules.
- Participate in national championships, the National Sports Festival, All Africa Games, and Olympic Games.
- Uphold the core values, discipline, and code of conduct of the Nigerian Navy.
- Combine athletic duties with mandatory military service responsibilities as assigned.
- Possession of the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent with at least 4 credits, including English Language.
- Proven natural talent in specific sports disciplines.
- Mandatory evidence of participation in the National Sports Festival, OR
- Participation in any National Championship, All African Games, Olympic Games, or recognized International Competitions.
- Valid license from a recognized National Sports Federation or State Sports Association.
- A stable and prestigious career within the Nigerian Navy.
