About the Role
The Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu (FUAHSE), established on March 14, 2024, is rapidly growing to meet Nigeria's critical healthcare and manpower needs. Evolving from the former Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy into a dynamic university with six faculties and seventeen departments, we are dedicated to training innovative and skilled professionals. We are currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Sport Assistant to join our vibrant campus community and support our athletic and recreational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in organizing, coordinating, and supervising university sports programs, tournaments, and recreational activities.
- Maintain sports equipment, facilities, and inventory in optimal condition for student and staff use.
- Support sports coaches and university staff during training sessions, matches, and physical education events.
- Promote student participation in physical fitness programs and ensure adherence to safety guidelines during all sporting activities.
- Perform administrative duties related to the sports department, including scheduling, attendance tracking, and event documentation.
- Possess relevant academic qualifications, National Diploma, or certifications in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in sports administration, coaching, or managing athletic facilities.
- Possess high standards of personal integrity, professional competence, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong commitment to the institutional objectives and vision of the Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu.
