About the Role
Nile University of Nigeria, a leading multidisciplinary private institution and proud member of Honoris United Universities, is seeking a competent, result-oriented Specialist, Data Analyst / Education & Business Analyst. Joining our dynamic team in the Nile Business Education Department in Abuja, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic decisions through advanced data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, clean, validate, and analyse comprehensive education and business data to support institutional goals.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and performance scorecards using BI tools.
- Analyse critical student metrics including enrolment, retention, completion, engagement, and revenue data.
- Identify operational trends, patterns, anomalies, and strategic growth opportunities.
- Develop predictive and descriptive models to guide management decision-making and track programme performance against key KPIs.
- Automate recurring reporting processes and maintain high standards of data quality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to define reporting requirements and support business case development.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in data or business analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualisation techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent Business Intelligence platforms.
- Prior experience within the education sector or academic analytics is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated strong personal and professional integrity with excellent communication skills.
