We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Needs Teacher to join our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of exceptional learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and assess learners with special educational needs to determine appropriate learning pathways.
  • Provide tailored academic and behavioral support, reinforcing core subjects according to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate closely with mainstream teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary professionals such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists.
  • Plan and schedule periodic stakeholder meetings to review and optimize support strategies for SEND learners.
  • Monitor student progress meticulously and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), progress reports, and intervention trackers.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and healthy learning environment while strictly adhering to institutional safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Special Education; a Master's degree (MSc) will be an added advantage.
  • Proven professional experience working as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar relevant capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of contemporary special education topics, evidence-based methodologies, and diverse disability frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and evaluate effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Possession of a valid state special education certificate or relevant professional teaching registration.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, patience, resourcefulness, and resilience.
