Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons in accordance with the approved Nigerian and Montessori-aligned curricula.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and organizing remedial support where necessary.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Conduct practical laboratory experiments to complement theoretical concepts and ensure safety standards are strictly maintained.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance while participating in school-wide meetings and parent-teacher conferences.
- Minimum of an NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education), Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed), or a B.Sc in a relevant science discipline.
- Must possess relevant teaching experience within a recognized primary or secondary school setting.
- Exceptional fluency in spoken and written English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching with a patient, creative, and student-centered approach.
