We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sourcing Specialist to join our team in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will lead and optimize our procurement processes, combining technical expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management to ensure the efficient acquisition of goods and services while driving sustainable cost-savings and mitigating operational risks.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to secure cost-effective, high-quality goods and services aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks and favorable terms regarding pricing and delivery.
- Establish and maintain robust Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) practices, conducting regular performance evaluations and onboarding diverse vendors.
- Implement proactive cost management strategies and perform detailed cost-benefit analyses to identify ongoing savings opportunities.
- Identify and assess supply chain risks, developing mitigation plans to guarantee business continuity.
- Enforce strict procurement policies, conducting internal audits and collaborating with legal and finance departments.
- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor market trends, track supplier performance, and present actionable reports to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, finance, or supply chain operations, preferably within the logistics industry.
- Proven expertise in end-to-end contract negotiation and supplier management.
- Strong proficiency in procurement software and data analytics tools for spend analysis.
