About the Role
Eastern Plains Integrated Farms Limited (EPIFL) is a rapidly growing integrated agribusiness enterprise located in Igbariam, Anambra State, Nigeria, specializing in large-scale poultry production to meet regional food security needs. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Procurement Officer to join our supply chain team and drive efficient purchasing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate favourable commercial terms, and support vendor selection and contract management.
- Conduct vendor evaluation and performance monitoring while maintaining an up-to-date supplier database to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement documentation in strict adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with Inventory, Warehouse, and Finance departments to monitor stock levels, reconcile invoices, and ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor procurement expenditures, pricing trends, and delivery timelines to proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and resolve bottlenecks.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement records, supplier documentation, and generate regular status reports for management review.
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations within a structured environment.
- Proven expertise in vendor management, quotation analysis, purchase order processing, and supplier performance tracking.
- Solid working knowledge of procurement regulations, contract negotiation strategies, and compliance frameworks.
- Active pursuit or possession of professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or relevant logistics credentials will be a distinct advantage.
